Laura Kirstine, R.Ac

Laura Kirstine is a graduate of the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria, BC.  She successfully completed the CTCMA board exam in BC and is currently Vice President of Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncturists.  Prior to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, she received an Honors Specialization degree in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Western Ontario.

Laura uses a combination of acupuncture, herbal therapy, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, reiki and acutonics to help restore balance to the body.  She has been successful at treating many ailments including chronic pain, headaches, digestive disorders, insomnia, stress, anxiety and gynecological issues. She uses an individualized treatment approach for each patient that focuses on treating the root of the disorder.

Laura has also been trained in shamanic energy healing techniques and places emphasis on correcting energetic imbalances by incorporating Chakra balancing and Sacred Geometry into her acupuncture treatments.  She believes that disease in the body is a reflection of imbalance in the spirit or other areas of life and therefore works to treat the spirit to alleviate the disease.  She looks forward to helping guide her patients on their healing journey.

Her offered services include: Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Cupping, Moxibustion, Herbal Therapy, Acutonics and Biofield Sound Therapy
