"Hectic lives, repetitive movements and poor ergonomics result in muscle, joint and nerve pain to name a few. Sophie's specialized treatment plans, combined with massage maintenance, have helped hundreds of clients achieve better health."
Sophie Arsenault, RMT
Sophie is very focused on treating her clients on an individualized basis and approaches each treatment plan with the goal of finding the specific treatment best suited for their needs. She has worked as a licensed registered massage therapist (RMT) in Halifax, both in a spa and clinical environment.
Sophie, working at the local Ohana Health and Wellness Centre in Halifax, creates each treatment plan based on each client’s comfort level and treatment needs. She believes in a gradual approach to deep pressure massage, applying pressure based on the reaction of the muscle and the clients comfort level. She has found this approach to be the most effective and minimizes the client’s discomfort, during and after the massage.
Hectic lives, repetitive movements and poor ergonomics result in muscle, joint and nerve pain to name a few. Sophie’s specialized treatment plans, combined with massage maintenance and a thorough home-care program, have helped hundreds of clients achieve better health. Sophie offers specialized treatments for TMJ (jaw problems due to clenching and grinding of teeth), sinusitis, frozen shoulder, migraines, whiplash, pregnancy, sciatica, chronic pain and fibromyalgia as well as treatments for other day to day related issues.
